RAT Setup Tutorial - No Port Forward Needed
Ok so this is some trick I found when I was researching to get Cybergate work on my router. First thing you do is Get utorrent. Then you go to preferences -> Connection and change listneing port to 82 or whatever the rat uses. I use 82 for Cybergate. Also Don't forget to tick "Enable Upnp Port Mapping". ![]() Then download some Torrent. Maybe a movie or some songs. While you are downloading, after 5-10 seconds check It should say your port is open ![]() Then thats it. Start NO-ip DNS update tool update your dns, then start Cybergate and keep Listening to port 82. *Note*: This trick might not work if your router doesn't support UPNP. But Most routers today do, so nothing to worry about. Credit goes to The 7th Sage |
