In search of some adventure in their safe and peaceful valley, the five dinosaur friends make a hideaway. From there, they spot two thieves in action, stealing an egg from one of their broods. They chase them down and manage to recover the egg without its parents noticing, but in the process, accidentally create an opening into the valley, allowing two dreaded Sharptooths in. Everyone must fight them off together to preserve their peaceful way of life.

A nearby meteorite crash blocks off the dinosaurs' water supply, starting an ecological chain-reaction that threatens life in the valley. All the dinosaurs, including a group of stupid bullies, must cooperate in an effort to free the blockage, which involves a risky venture outside the valley.

Littlefoot's grandfather is dreadfully ill and a golden flower is the only hope to cure him, but it lies within the land of the Mists so Littlefoot and his friends Cera, Ducky, Petrie, Spike and newcomer, Ali, journey through the mists to find it. Mayhem and danger await around every turn!

In this animated adventure, Littlefoot the Dinosaur (voice of Thomas Dekker) and his friends return as they live in fear of the "Sharp Tooths," a pack of vicious T-Rexes who don't get along with other prehistoric animals. Littlefoot finds inspiration in the stories passed along by his elders of The Lone Dinosaur, a Brontosaurus who helped defend his tribe from angry predators. When Doc (voice of Kris Kristofferson), a strong but soft-spoken older dinosaur, arrives in Littlefoot's camp, the younger lizard wonders if Doc might be the Lone Dinosaur of legend, travelling incognito. Kenneth Mars, Nancy Cartwright, and Miriam Flynn also lend their voices to this film.

In the seventh installment in the Land Before Time franchise, Littlefoot the Dinosaur and his friends see a bright light in the sky crashing to Earth one evening. As word of the unusual occurrence travels through the village, some of the older dinosaurs wonder aloud if the youngsters have witnessed the fabled "Stone of Cold Fire," which is said to have miraculous properties. When Petrie's long-lost uncle Pterano arrives, he makes it his business to find the stone in a bid to take control of the tribe; meanwhile, Littlefoot and the other young dinosaurs set out to find the stone by themselves to unravel the mystery once and for all. Combining computerized images with traditional paint-and-ink animation, The Land Before Time VII: The Stone of Cold Fire features the voice talents of Kenneth Mars, Michael York, and Miriam Flynn.

While trying to obtain "Tree Sweets", Littlefoot into the tree and knocks down all the blossoms, which attract the tiny dinosaurs, Tinysauruses. They devour the plants and disappear. But Littlefoot isn't blamed for the disappearance. Instead of taking the blame, he accidentally makes the adults go into a "Get Frankenstein" frenzy when they believe the tiny dinosaurs were the main cause. Now Littlefoot and his friends must protect the tiny herd, and in the end learn the value of honesty.
